In the times when people are distressed as the death toll due to COVID-19 keeps on escalating, humanitarians and social organizations have decided to come together to spread some positivity. Spiritual guru and humanitarian Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar is at the foremost in this initiative as The Art of Living Foundation joined hands with #ChangeWithin to bring some meaningful and spiritually enlightening discussions virtually for the people across the world.

Karan Johar kicked off the unique interactive live series Heart-to-Heart a few days ago followed by Sonakshi Sinha and Kapil Sharma.

Kapil Sharma Gives Funny Twist To His Interaction

Kapil Sharma is known for his perfect comic timing and sense of humor whereas Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a spiritual guru who is followed worldwide for his mediation and breathing techniques like Sudarshan Kriya. So when the heart to heart interaction between these two highly popular figures in India began everyone wondered how this conversation will run.

The standup comedian first asked for blessings and good wishes from Gurudev and then went on with his usual comic mood. When Kapil said that out of the few questions he is going to ask some are from his friends Gurudev said that it means ‘Aapke Sawal Bhi Udhaar hai.” Kapil humbly replied that for talking with such a big person like Sri Sri Ravishankar it is important to be prepared whereas the Gurudev himself does not require any preparation for answering all such questions.

The famous standup comedian lightened the mood when he gave an example of a tradition followed in India. Kapil said that when a man and woman marry in India, the man is called Shri whereas the woman is called Srimati. So since there are two Sri Sri in Gurudev’s name did he marry two times? Ravishankarji says there is a hundred and eight Sri in front of the saints in Haridwar. But that does not mean that they are married hundred and eight times.

Spiritual Was My Nature Since Childhood, Says Gurudev

Sri Sri Ravishankarji said that he was inclined towards spirituality since childhood and it was a way of life to him. Kapil says it is difficult to keep the mind stable during yoga and meditation. He even relates a story of a woman whom a saint has said not to think of monkey but the animal keeps on coming in her mind. So the “Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karu” actor says that the things which we do not want to come in our thoughts keep on coming. Sri Sri Ravishankar says one should not stop such thoughts from coming. Rather when you accept those thoughts, observe them they go away.
