Here's Why Karan Johar’s Viral Party Video Has Got A Clean Chit From NCB

Karan Johar and a number of Bollywood's top stars can breathe a sigh of relief as the Narcotics Control Bureau has given them a clean chit over the viral 2019 party video.

A month ago, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa had filed a complaint with the NCB over this viral party video alleging that drugs were consumed at the party. The video was under the radar after Twitteraties revisited it after the drug links in Bollywood started making headlines.

In a recent development, according to reports in Zee News, NCB officials have now given a clean chit over the viral video which was shot and uploaded on social media by Karan Johar's during his house party. As per the report, the NCB did not find anything suspicious and the 'white line' in the video, which was alleged to be 'drugs' by many, has been ruled out as a reflection of the tube light.

Earlier, the filmmaker had earlier taken to social media to issue a clarification on the viral video. He also added that neither does he consumes drugs nor does he encourage the consumption of drugs.
