Govinda breaks silence on affair rumours, calls it a ‘Big Conspiracy’; Sunita Ahuja says, ‘I will never forgive him’ after naming alleged GF

For months, whispers of trouble in Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s marriage have dominated headlines. Divorce speculation and talk of an alleged affair kept the couple under constant scrutiny, even as Govinda chose silence- until now.

Govinda Breaks His Silence

Speaking to ANI, the Bhagam Bhag actor finally addressed the storm. He explained that staying quiet only made him seem “weak,” adding that it allowed a “problematic” perception to grow. Govinda described the situation as a “big conspiracy,” claiming even close family members may be “used” without realising it.

“What I've been observing lately is that sometimes when we don't speak, we either appear weak or it seems like we are simply the problem. So today, I'm responding. I was told that people in my family might be unknowingly involved and they won't realise they are being used in the initial stages of a big conspiracy," he said.

Career, Criticism and Conspiracies

Govinda also reflected on his distance from work and the lack of opportunities, clarifying he wasn’t seeking sympathy.

"First, the family gets affected, and then it extends to society. I've been disconnected from work for many years; there's no market for my films. Please don't mistake this as me complaining or crying. I've rejected many films myself, so I don't cry about it," he added.

He further suggested that immense popularity often invites attempts to damage one’s reputation.

"But she can never imagine that she herself has been unknowingly placed in a big conspiracy, with her being thrown into the field as the opening batsman," he said.

"To ruin someone's reputation in society and impose something on them - like how, in the beginning, a very dangerous man accused me, and that man was later exposed too. When your popularity in the film industry crosses a certain point, many people come forward to destroy you," he added.

A Prayer for Peace

Speaking emotionally, Govinda appealed for clarity and harmony within his family. "I pray to God that he removes me from this problem. I also pray for the welfare of my children. I pray that there is no misunderstanding and that I don't get suffocated. I make a humble request, especially to my own family," he said.

Sunita Ahuja’s Sharp Revelation 

Meanwhile, Sunita Ahuja offered her own candid take in a recent interview. Addressing rumours of Govinda’s closeness to another woman, she quipped, “Is the name Komal? That name is a bit problematic.”

The remark, half-sarcastic and half-pained, immediately set tongues wagging. Sunita went further, alleging that the woman, believed to be Komal, was blackmailing Govinda for money, claiming some enter the industry seeking financial security through influential men.

Her words carried years of frustration. The most jarring moment came when she said, “If this is true, I will never forgive him.”
