Subramanian Swamy is one of the prominent political leaders supporting investigation in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Today the BJP politician tweeted, "Those who are criticizing us who are exposing the cover-up in the Sushant murder case, and thus want us to be gagged, deserve to be labeled as “Gagsters of Bollywood.”

Later on, he called them "gagsters and gangsters of Bollywood". Swamy has been repeatedly slamming the Bollywood industry. He even asked the concerned authorities to look into the nepotism angle and whether blind items forced Sushant to commit suicide.

Right from the start, he has supported the Sushant Singh Rajput fans who have been demanding CBI inquiry into the case. He also backed Kangana Ranaut and appointed lawyer Ishkaran Bhandari to represent SSR. Subramanian Swamy is probably the only national political leader who supported Kangana Ranaut's suggestion that leading Bollywood actors should take drug tests.
He showed his support by retweeting a video clip of Madhya Pradesh Minister Vishwas Sarang. In his post, Sarang says that to end the use of drugs, Bollywood stars should take a dope test before shooting.

Subramanian Swamy Believes Evidence In Case of Sushant Singh Rajput Was Destroyed
The Rajya Sabha member has been regularly following the SSR case. When the Supreme Court handed the case to CBI, Subramanian Swamy was there to acknowledge the efforts of SSR fans. However, he did say that it is going to be difficult for CBI to track down the real culprit.
In his tweet, Swamy wrote, "There was systematic destruction in the evidence. This requires painstaking reconstruction. Since SSR was cremated the next day, the toughest is the re-evaluation of the Cooper Hospital autopsy report. So circumstantial evidence obtained by CBI and confessions got to have to fill the gap."

When many believed that the report from AIIMS can prove to be a turning point, Swamy wrote, "Some Police officials are briefing the media that the AIIMS post mortem will decide whether it is murder or suicide. How can they when they did not have the SSR body as in the case of Sunanda? At most AIIMS report can show what was done or not done by Dr.Cooper Hospital doctors."
