Initially expected to release in August this year, the romantic period drama will now likely arrive either late this year or early next year, after Ramayana completes its run.

Why Ranbir’s Films Take Time?

Addressing fans about the longer timelines of his films, RK acknowledged that while some actors wrap projects that release within months, his ventures often require extended production schedules. The scale, ambition, and cinematic vision behind his films demand time - but he assured fans that the final outcome will justify the wait.

Brahmastra 2 to Begin Sooner Than Expected!

One of the biggest highlights of the session was Ranbir’s update on Brahmastra 2. The actor revealed that the sequel will commence earlier than fans anticipate, accelerating excitement around the Astraverse.

He also confirmed that Animal Park, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, remains in development and is expected to go on floors mid-next year.

Rockstar 2? Ranbir Is Ready

When fans asked about sequels to Tamasha, Rockstar, and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ranbir responded candidly. He expressed eagerness to reprise Jordan in a potential Rockstar sequel - but only if director Imtiaz Ali crafts a compelling script.

Notably, nearly a year ago, during his appearance on Game Changers, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali teased the possibility of revisiting Rockstar. Keeping the door open, he suggested that a compelling idea could someday evolve into Rockstar Part 2. With a “never say never” approach, he hinted that if a powerful or even wild thought around the story strikes him, the journey of Jordan might just find a new chapter.

Regarding Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, he acknowledged its “beautiful ending,” while hinting that another film in a similar coming-of-age space could someday materialize.
