What Happened on Laughter Chefs 3

The incident occurred when the Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 team visited Laughter Chefs 3 to promote the film. Comedian Bharti Singh, who is currently pregnant with her second child with husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa, was hosting the episode.

Ayesha Khan, along with Warina Hussain, Tridha Choudhury and Parul Gulati, made a lively entry by dancing to the song Pehli Uddi Furr. Shortly after their performance, Bharti made a remark that left many uncomfortable.

She said, “Jab saari heroine aayi na, mujhe Ayesha ko dekh ke laga, Krushna phir se aa gaya, kyunki uski tarah lambi hai na,” comparing Ayesha’s height to that of comedian Krushna Abhishek.

An Awkward Moment On Set

Ayesha Khan appeared visibly uncomfortable following the comment and moved closer to Kapil Sharma. Sensing the tension, Kapil immediately asked Bharti whether the remark was meant as a compliment. Parul Gulati also stepped in, telling Bharti that she should not have said it.

Trying to defuse the situation, Bharti responded with, “Sorry, I am pregnant,” but the moment had already caught attention.

Internet Reacts Strongly

The clip soon surfaced on Reddit, with a user questioning whether the joke was rude or mean-spirited. Several viewers criticised Bharti’s comment, calling it disrespectful and unnecessary.

One user wrote that the joke was “plain disrespectful to bigger-sized women,” while another said they were glad the cast did not find it funny. Some comments also accused Bharti of frequently making body-shaming remarks toward women on the show.
