After winning hearts and sparking laughter for over a decade, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! is finally stepping out of the living room and marching straight into theatres. Heartland Stars Power Up the Cast
In a casting coup that has fans buzzing, the makers have roped in three powerhouse performers from the Hindi heartland - Ravi Kishan, Mukesh Tiwari, and Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua). Their entry promises to turbocharge the film’s humour quotient and introduce an exciting new flavour to the quirky universe of “Modern Colony,” home to Vibhuti ji, Tiwari ji, Anita Bhabi, and of course, the ever-charming Angoori Bhabi.
The good news? The original favourites are all returning. Aasif Sheikh, Rohitashv Gaur, and Shubhangi Atre will reprise their iconic roles, ensuring that the show’s signature madness remains delightfully intact.
A Television Staple Now Turning into Cinema History
Backed by Zee Cinema, Zee Studios, and Edit II, the film marks a rare milestone - a running sitcom transitioning to the big screen. Inspired by the classic 90s show Shrimaan Shrimati, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain has built an enduring legacy with its cheeky one-liners, colourful characters, and a fan following that only grew stronger as it completed 2,500 episodes in January 2025.
What’s in Store for Fans?
Fun On The Run isn’t just a nostalgic revisit - it promises an expanded canvas of comedy. With new stars joining the chaos, expect wilder scenarios, louder laughter, and the same unforgettable catchphrases… yes, Angoori’s “Sahi pakde hain!” is definitely on the cards. The big-screen version looks ready to take the familiar madness beyond the boundaries of Modern Colony.
As the countdown begins, fans are gearing up to experience their favourite characters in a whole new avatar - this time, in surround sound.
