Actress Shilpa Shinde has once again found herself in the spotlight after reports claimed she might reprise her iconic role as Angoori Bhabi in the hit sitcom Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. The buzz began after speculation surfaced that she was in talks to replace Shubhangi Atre, who currently plays the beloved character.

Fans, thrilled by the possibility of seeing OG Angoori Bhabi again, flooded social media with excitement. Amid the growing buzz, during a recent exclusive interview, Shilpa broke her silence on the circulating reports. 

Shilpa Shinde Finally Breaks Silence on Comeback

Buzz During an exclusive chat with Zoom/Telly Talk India, Shilpa set the record straight and shared her candid reaction.

When asked about the rumours, Shilpa said, “I have been getting a lot of calls since morning. I have been working on something else. I have gone into another world. I was with Manoj ji, and he would always want me to come back on Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. Abhi Manoj ji hi nahi hai."

Further, she added, "But I would definitely love to do that. I believe in 'Mann ka ho toh accha, naa ho toh aur bhi accha.' I have not yet given a thought about it. It's a big risk.”

Though the actress hinted that while she would love to return someday, nothing concrete has been decided yet.

Putting an end to the speculation, Shilpa clarified that talks are still at a preliminary stage. “We have made a lot of people laugh. It's been 10 years BGPH is going on. Now, they also want a change in story. People are now thinking that I am coming back, but yes, discussions are going on. I was approached for a different show. Nothing has been finalised yet. This is just news.”

Her statement suggests that while discussions are happening, there’s no confirmation of her comeback as of now.

“If Angoori Bhabi Changes, She Will Never Be Angoori Bhabi” 

Reflecting on her journey with Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, Shilpa expressed how deeply she values the affection she still receives from fans. She believes that Angoori Bhabi is an irreplaceable character. She said, “If Angoori Bhabhi changes, she will never be Angoori Bhabhi.”

Acknowledging the uncertainty of the future, she said destiny plays its own role and called the idea of returning “a big risk.” Shilpa admitted she hasn’t made any decision yet, adding that if she ever does, it would be out of love for Manoj Ji and her fans.

She also hinted at mixed emotions from her past experience on the show but remains grateful for the continued admiration, saying, “People shower a lot of love on me for Bhabiji.”

Her words highlight her affection for the role and her late co-star Manoj Tiwari, while leaving fans hopeful for a possible reunion with the show.
