Photographer Ravendra Singh Bhadauria gave fans a sneak peek into the project by posting a picture of the film’s clapperboard on Instagram, clearly showcasing the updated title- 'Yeh Prem Mol Liya'.
According to a report by Mid Day, the next shooting schedule will kick off this week at Mumbai’s Mehboob Studios, with the filmmakers aiming to wrap production by January 2026.
60-Day Intensive Shoot Underway
Notably, the film began its journey on November 1 in Mumbai. Excitement has already built up on social media, where images of Ayushmann and Sharvari shooting at a railway station went viral. The duo also wrapped up a week-long song sequence in Kandivali before moving into a 60-day, start-to-finish schedule focusing on the emotional and dramatic heart of the story.
Lavish indoor sets have been constructed across three floors of Mehboob Studios to maintain a consistent aesthetic and emotional rhythm throughout the film.
A crew member was quoted as saying, “The team plans to wrap up by January 2026. About 80% of the film will be shot indoors at Mehboob, with only a few outdoor patch portions. The aim is to ensure the emotional graph of the story is captured seamlessly.”
A Stellar Cast and Grand Production
In addition to Ayushmann and Sharvari, the film also stars veteran actors Anupam Kher, Seema Pahwa, and Supriya Pathak in significant roles. One of the early highlights includes a vibrant dance sequence shot over seven days in Mumbai, featuring an ensemble cast and around 200 background dancers - a signature element of Sooraj Barjatya’s grand storytelling style.
Sooraj Barjatya On His Creative Process
Jointly produced by Rajshri Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films, Yeh Prem Mol Liya marks another heartfelt chapter in Barjatya’s celebrated career.
During an earlier conversation with PTI, the filmmaker confessed to feeling “a bit nervous” before the shoot. He shared, “I’ve always felt this nervousness before starting a film, since Maine Pyar Kiya. As a creator, it’s not about box office numbers; it’s about whether the audience connects with the story and the world you’re creating.”
