To this, Ayushmann had the most Ayushmann-style reply, "Mat kar lala. Nahi chahiye hume bahar ki validation (Don't do this, we don't need the outside validation). No comparison, this is our desi universe. So Thamma is Thamma." (sic)

With this sharp yet humble response, the actor made it clear that while he appreciates the sentiment, MHCU stands tall as India’s own proudly homegrown cinematic universe.

‘Thamma’ and a Dream Come True

Still glowing from the success of Thamma, Ayushmann shared his happiness and gratitude with fans.

He said, "Neend acchi aarahi hai. Mtlb pehle bhi acchi aati thi ab aur acchi aa rahi hai. Thamma is very special for me. My first big film released on Diwali. Earlier, I just used to watch films on Diwali but this time I am showing a film on Diwali. The dream of a Chandigarh's boy has been fulfilled." (sic)

His heartfelt words show how Thamma is more than just another hit - it’s a milestone in his career and a deeply personal achievement.

Expanding the Desi Multiverse

Ayushmann also spoke about the growing popularity of MHCU, calling it, "the best universe in Indian cinema" and adding, "It's ever expanding and the mergers that are going to happen coming forward will be crazy." (sic)

With Thamma raking in a Rs 25 crore opening and fans eagerly awaiting future crossovers, MHCU is fast becoming India’s answer to the MCU - but with a distinctly desi twist.
