Alpha: Working with Alia Bhatt is a ‘Dream Come True’ for Sharvari; Actress opens up on YRF Spy Universe's next film

Actress Sharvari Wagh is gearing up for a major leap with Alpha, her next big-ticket project under Yash Raj Films’ expanding Spy Universe. Co-starring Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol the film marks Sharvari’s transition into a full-fledged action avatar.

‘A Dream Come True’ Moment with Alia Bhatt

During a recent interaction with Harper’s Bazaar, Sharvari reflected on sharing screen space with Alia Bhatt and how deeply the experience impacted her.

She said, "Just to share screen space with a superstar like Alia Bhatt has taught me so much that I’m actually itching to go on different sets and be able to use the kind of skills that I have seen or learned from her. It was a dream come true for me as I got to understand her process and know her as a person."

The actress revealed that working closely with Bhatt has left her inspired, both as a performer and as an individual.

A Defining Phase For Women-led Action Films!

Sharvari also highlighted how the industry is witnessing a crucial shift, with more opportunities for women to headline large-scale action entertainers. She noted, "It’s an exciting time to be a part of this industry, especially because we are getting an opportunity to play such characters. For instance, Alpha is one such film, a first-of-its-kind in Indian cinema, an action entertainer led by women."

Making the Moment Count

Aware of the significance of this phase, the Vedaa actress stressed the importance of seizing such opportunities, concluding, "If we don’t make the most of it now, then it would be a missed opportunity."
