Alia Bhatt's Sadak 2 trailer became the most disliked trailer in the world on its release. It was because the fans of Sushant Singh Rajput enraged at star kids decided to boycott the trailer and the movie. They even slammed the flick when it released on OTT on 28th August. However, despite all this hatred and slamming, the sequel continues to create buzz on digital media. Rather according to Ormax Media Sadak 2 topped the list of movies that created a buzz in India last week.
Now it is quite evident that the buzz also includes negative publicity. But all this banning and boycotting trend indirectly made Alia Bhatt's movie a hot topic of discussion.
Alia Bhatt Is A Star Because She is Really Good
Despite all the slamming that came her way, Alia Bhatt remained tight-lipped and did not react. Importantly, her ardent fans stood by her side. They appreciated her work in Sadak 2. The fans even encouraged her when the reprised version of Tum Se Hi from the sequel came out.
While the SSR fans came out against her strongly, Alia Bhatt fans kept on promoting her on social media, sharing her throwback videos and clicks.
Even celebrity photographer Avinash Gowarikar could not stop himself from appreciating the professionalism of Alia Bhatt. He wrote, "Nothing candid about this pic... she didn’t stop posing even after PackUp!! Was as Glam n Fab as she was in the main shoot!!"
Fans appreciated Alia for her strength and courage to stay strong during this wave of negative publicity. A fan wrote, "I don’t understand how someone can be so strong, yet have such a gentle and warm heart. You are the sweetest and I speak for every Alia Bhatt fan when I say, that we are so proud to stan someone like you."
With so much backing from the fans and her supporters, its no wonder that Alia Bhatt continues to attract new projects from big banners. Apart from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi, she is also working with SS Rajamouli in RRR and Karan Johar's Takht.
