Akshay Kumar misses ‘Queen’ Katrina Kaif while grooving with Disha Patani to ‘Uncha Lamba Kad’ remix from Welcome to the Jungle, watch

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif ruled the 2000s with their unforgettable on-screen pairing, gifting fans a string of timeless chartbusters. Among them, “Uncha Lamba Kad” from the 2007 comedy hit Welcome remains a classic that continues to strike a nostalgic chord.

Now, nearly two decades later, the iconic number has been recreated for Akshay’s upcoming film Welcome to the Jungle. Sharing a short teaser of the remix, Akshay not only brought back the familiar rhythm but also took a sweet moment to remember his former co-star, Katrina Kaif, with a heartfelt message.

In the video, Akshay is seen with Welcome to the Jungle co-star Disha Patani, as the duo cross paths and groove to the lively beats of the remix version of Uncha Lamba Kad. Towards the end, Akshay smiles and says, “We miss you, Katrina!” 

In his caption, the actor wrote, “From our hearts to yours!! What a throwback, 18 years & still an all time favourite. With so much nostalgia, beautiful @DishPatani & I bring you ‘Welcome to the Jungle’… Never forgetting our Queen Katrina (red heart emoticon).” (sic)

A Star-Studded Jungle Adventure

Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome to the Jungle brings together an enormous ensemble of 34 actors, with names like Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Raveena Tandon, and Disha Patani joining Akshay in the madcap adventure. The film promises to take the comedy franchise to a new level of laughter and chaos.
