CAT exam gives you a golden ticket to IIMs and other top business schools in India. To ace this entrance, one needs to be dedicated towards their preparation to achieve a better percentile. Time is a constraint in CAT, so you have to be ready to beat the clock whilst taking the test. Since there are only a few days left for the CAT entrance exam, don’t try anything new, instead, revise what you have already studied so far. Before you appear for CAT, follow these do’s and don’ts.

The CAT 2022 takes place on November 27. This year, the exam will be administered by IIM Bangalore. The exam consists of three sections, namely, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), Quantitative Ability (QA). Each section has a time frame of 40 minutes and the whole exam concludes in two hours. The applicant has 66 questions to attempt in the given time.

Since lakhs of applicants will be competing with each other for this exam, the competition is always intense. This adds a lot of pressure for the applicants to do well in the test. Having good preparation isn’t the complete recipe to score better in this better, but there’s more than what meets the eye. Here are a few key do’s and don’ts to remember before taking the exam.
