Bhubaneswar: In a major development for students, Odisha government on Monday announced that the results for annual Class-X examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education will be published by 31 July 2020.

As the evaluation process for the same has already been completed, the Board is in the process of tabulation and the results will be published by the said date, informed State School and Mass Education Minister, Sameer Ranjan Das.

“We are glad that we could finish the evaluation process before the scheduled time as per our target,” added Dash.

However, the evaluation process for the +2 examination faced roadblocks and got delayed due to intermittent lockdowns and shutdowns clamped in as many as 20 districts of Odisha. The teachers appointed in the evaluation exercise are finding it hard to commute to and from the evaluation centres.
