Inebriated Man Kills Mother In Mayurbhanj, Arrested

Baripada: An inebriated man allegedly killed his mother at Dudhiasole village under Shyamakhunta Police limits in Mayurbhanj district on Saturday night over some family dispute.

The deceased has been identified as Gurubari Singh. Meanwhile, Baripada Sadar police have arrested the accused Buddhu Singh.

As per reports, the mother-son duo was not in good terms over some family dispute and had a fight few days back.

However, yesterday, Buddhu came home in an inebriated state and attacked Guruburi with a hoe on her head leading to her death on the spot.

Later, Baripada Sadar police rushed to the spot after getting information from neighbours and arrested Buddhu.

The police have also seized the murder weapon from the spot and further investigation in connection with the matter is underway.
