A journalist with over 25 years experience, Kasturi Ray, an IIMC alumnus, has worked with national newspapers and digital news space in senior positions. She has served the New Indian Express for over 20 years and currently serving there as the senior news editor. She has also been a columnist for Firstpost, the Quint and served Odishatv.in as senior editor (2017-2020). A national Laadli media awardee for gender sensitivity, she has been writing on women’s issues,  politics, governance, environment and progressive stories besides reporting cyclones and floods extensively throughout Odisha.
