The wait is finally over! Kshama Bindu, India's first sologamist, is married now!
The 24-year-old woman from Gujarat broke the stereotype of matrimony and tied the knot with herself on Wednesday (June 8).
On her wedding day, Kshama got her mehendi done, wore exchanged garlands with herself and followed all the rituals and vows just as per the traditional Hindu marriage.
On getting refusal from the temple priest, she married herself by playing wedding mantras on a Bluetooth speaker.
Notebly, Kshama was about to marry herself on June 11. But, she decided to pre-pone the ceremony by couple of days as she was facing many challenges.
The wedding took place in the presence of very few close friends at her residence.
On being asked if she will marry somebody else in future, Kshama said that she will always stay tied in this 'knot with herself' and will not marry again.
