Three more bodies were recovered from the Mahanadi River by the Fire services personnel on Friday (Nov 26) after four minor boys went missing while taking bath.

The bodies of three minor boys identified as Chandan Behera, Ajinkya Bahalia and Ashutosh Sethi were recovered today while the body of the fourth minor boy, identified as Om Prakash Behera, was recovered on Thursday night.

Reports stated that the four boys aged between 13- 14 years were residents of Potapokhari in Cuttack’s Nayabazar area. The four were reportedly classmates studying in Standard 8th.

Sources informed that the four decided to go for an outing at the Bhadimula Ghat after finishing their school at 1 PM on Thursday. However, after several hours, when the four failed to return back, their parents launched a search.

Later in the evening, they discovered four bicycles parked near the ghat and informed the police.
