A week after the deadly attack at the Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza that claimed nearly 500 lives, the Palestinian militant group is yet to produce proof of Israeli link to the attack. Hamas said it could not find any proof at the site of the incident. It also declines to provide information about the legitimacy of its causality count. A blame game erupted between Palestine and Israel soon after the attack. Hamas-run Gazan health ministry accused Israel of attacking the al-Ahli hospital. As various leaders demanded an investigation to find the cause of the attack, Palestinian authority released a statement with death tolls varying from 500 to 833, before settling on 471. However, Hamas rejected the proposal of disclosing details about the victims. Hamas in its statement said that the missile had dissolved like ‘salt in the water’ and it was unable to find any traces of munitions.
