The sudden surge in Covid-19 death cases can be attributed to the ongoing audit of the unreported fatalities across the country. Senior health expert from Odisha, Dr Niraj Mishra informed this on Sunday when he was asked about the death toll spiraling in last few days.
Mishra said that the COVID-19 deaths will decrease eventually as the number of sick patients admitted to the hospitals is also decreasing.
