In what indicates a major downtrend in the Covid curve in the state, Test Positivity Rate (TPR) has declined over the last few days. On Sunday, Additional Chief Secretary of Health department, Pradipta Mohapatra informed that the Covid positivity rate in Odisha has declined from 22% to 14%. Pradipta Mohapatra informed that at least 9 districts of Odisha account for 60% of the total virus caseload. Even though the second wave peak has crossed in the state, the senior official advised people to stay safe during the upcoming festive season.
