Andhra Pradesh Government intrudes into Odisha borders again. Andhra Pradesh government had set up an Anganwadi centre in Manikpatna village of Gajapati district in Odisha. The centre was sealed by the Gajapati district administration two days ago.

However, on Wednesday (September 8) some members of the Andhra administration reportedly reopened this centre. They not only reopened the centre but also held classes and distributed eggs to the students. At least 5-7 students attended the Anganwadi School on Thursday.

As per reports, at least 90% of the Manikpatna village is part of Odisha while just 10% is part of Andhra Pradesh. Besides, ministers and senior officials from Andhra Pradesh reached the spot to speak to the locals in the region.

Moreover, Andhra authorities have reportedly threatened to detain Gajapati district officials if the Anganwadi centre is closed again. According to sources, since long, an Anganwadi centre of the Odisha government has been operating in the area.

However, recently, the Andhra government set up another Anganwadi centre in the village. After getting information, Gajapati district administration visited the place on September 5th and had sealed the centre. However, Andhra officials on Wednesday reopened the centre.
