Cyclone Yaas had a destructive impact not just in the coastal districts but also in the interior parts of the state. On Wednesday, under the influence of the cyclonic system, heavy rainfall accompanied with gusty wind caused severe havoc in Mayurbhanj district. High windspeed accompanied by heavy showers uproot trees, destroy houses.
