Chadan, who is involved in seven chain snatching cases under three police stations in the capital city in the last three months, was arrested by the Khandagiri Police.
The accused was arrested based on the complaint filed by the victim at Khandagiri Police Station on March 25, 2023.
The aspirant, identified as Anita Jena of Lunia village in Bhadrak district reportedly submitted the fake Matriculation certificate.
Bolangir SP Nitin Kusalkar said that around 1,000 to 5,000 fake certificates have been seized from a coaching centre named Reliance Education Institute.
