Grand preparations are underway in Ayodhya to welcome Ram Lalla. From beautification works to developmental activities, the city is leaving no stone unturned to make the pran pratistha ceremony at Ram Mandir, a huge success. To add to the grandeur, Ayodhya administration has installed the world’s longest solar light line ahead of the ‘Pran Pratistha Ceremony.’ Determined to increase the use of green energy, Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency helped the administration to install 470 solar powered lights that cover a stretch of 10.2 km. The stretch starts from Guptar Ghat to Jhunki Ghat that is expected to extend further till Naya Ghat. The 4.4 watt LED-based solar lights are equipped with smart technology of sensing and switching off in daylight to conserve energy. Earlier, the record was held by Malham, Saudi Arabia after they lined up 468 solar light over a stretch of 9.7 Km in December 2021.
