A sarpanch, a farmer, a social worker! Hrudanada Das, the Sarpanch of Namatara Panchayat of Rajkanika block of Kendrapara district wears many hats. In his free time, Hrudananda devotes all his efforts towards growing fresh vegetables in his yard. Hrudananda has managed to grow several varieties of vegetables in his 7-acre land and has generated over Rs. 5 lakh income from farming.
