Petrol is being sold at Rs 103.60 and Rs 103.38 in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack respectively on Thursday.

As per August 12 updates, petrol is being sold at Rs 103.19 and Rs 103.59 in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack respectively. On Friday, while the diesel price in Bhubaneswar is Rs 94.76, in Cuttack the fuel's rate is Rs 95.14.

In Cuttack, customers are paying Rs 103.54 and Rs 95.25 per litre of petrol and diesel respectively.

Customers are reportedly paying Rs 103.01 per litre of petrol in the State Capital while diesel is sold at Rs 94.58 a litre.

India meets 80 per cent of its oil needs through imports. Retail rates are adjusted according to the global movement in crude prices.

Customers are reportedly paying Rs 112.68 per litre of petrol in the capital city of Bhubaneswar today while diesel is available at Rs 102.35 a litre

The fare for luxury buses has been reduced considerably in comparison to the ordinary category.

With the hike in the fuel prices, now petrol costs Rs 103.54 a litre while diesel is Rs 99.70 per litre in the Capital city.

The price of petrol has just hit a high ceiling in the Malkangiri district of Odisha. In breaking all its previous records, the petrol price in Kalimela area of the district has touched Rs 100 per litre of the oil.
