The Dengue situation in Bhubaneswar is assuming serious proportions with each passing day. Several localities in Sailashree Vihar and Niladri Vihar areas are among the worst affected.
Khordha CDMO said an urgent circular will be sent to the district administration to take up precautionary measures to combat the situation.
With an aim to contain the spread of dengue in Bhubaneswar, the BMC has issued a set of instructions and also warned against violation of the same.
After detection of fresh cases with the onset of monsoon, the civic authorities carried out a massive awareness programme in the city. Focussing on complete eradication of the disease, the BMC stressed on taking the awareness drive to every doorstep.
