IPL 2020: DC Score 110 Runs With Loss Of 9 Wickets Against MI

Dubai: Mumbai Indians (MI) won the toss and opted to bowl in the 51st match of Indian Premier League match against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Saturday at Dubai International Stadium. With fall of 9 wickets in the 20 overs, DC could score only 110 runs posting a victory target of 111 runs.

Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan were the openers for DC.

Leaving everyone stunned, Trent Boult dismissed Dhawan in the 3rd ball of first over. Dhawan couldn't score a single run and while the team's score was only one.

Boult again struck back dismissing Shaw in the last ball of 3rd over. Shaw scored only 10 runs off 10 deliveries.

In the halfway mark, DC was 49.

In the 11th over, Rahul Chahar dismissed DC skipper Shreyas Iyer. Shreyas scored 25 runs off 28 deliveries.

Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Marcus Stoinis in the 12th over. Stoinis scored only 2 runs.

Next, it was Rishab Pant who departed in the same over. Pant could score only 21 runs.

Harshal Patel was dismissed by Bumrah in the 14th over scoring only 5 runs. DC stood at 73 with the fall of 6 wickets.

Nathan Coulter-Nile dismissed Shimron Hetmyer in the 2nd ball of 16th over. Shimron scored 11.

Boult was again back with his fierce bowling. He dismissed Ravichandran Ashwin in the 19th over. Ashwin scored 12 runs off 8 balls.

Next, it was Kagiso Rabada who departed scoring 12 runs off 7 balls.

With fall of 9 wickets in the 20 overs, DC could score only 110 runs posting a victory target of 111 runs.

Mumbai Indians are already through to the play-offs while Delhi Capitals, who have lost their last three matches, need to win to enter the last four stage.

MI, who will again be led by Kieron Pollard as regular skipper Rohit Sharma is still not fit, have brought in Jayant Yadav and Nathan Coulter-Nile for Hardik Pandya and James Pattinson.

Delhi Capitals have brought in Prithvi Shaw, Praveen Dubey and Harshal Patel as they decided to leave out Ajinkya Rahane, Tushar Deshpande and Axar Patel.
