Abu Dhabi: Rajasthan Royals (RR) restricted Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to just 125/5 in their Indian Premier League's 37th match here on Monday. Jos Buttler's fifty and his standing partnership with Steve Smith helped RR to clinch victory from CSK. RR won the match by 7 wickets with 15 balls left.

Opener Ben Stokes departed early scoring only 19 runs off 11 balls. Deepak Chahar dismissed him in the last ball of 3rd over. Next, it was Robin Uthappa who departed scoring only 4 runs off 9 balls. Josh Hazlewood took the big wicket in the 4th over. Chahar once again struck in the 5th over and dismissed Sanju Samson while RR's total score was 28 runs.

RR lost three wickets in the powerplay with 31 runs on the board.

Buttler and Smith on crease had a good partnership in the innings. Buttler scored a fifty in the 14th over.

Smith scored 26 runs off 34 balls, while Buttler scored 70 runs off 48 balls. Both remained unbeaten and helped their team to clinch victory from CSK.

However, in the 37th match apart from getting the tag of the first cricketer to play 200 IPL matches, Dhoni got another record of 150 dismissals in IPL, in today’s match. Dhoni's magic behind the stump was indeed enthralling. He grabbed one going down the leg side and which was a crucial breakthrough for CSK.

Ravindra Jadeja became the top run-scorer for CSK with 35 off 30 balls and remained unbeaten, while MS Dhoni made 28 off 28 deliveries before being run out.

Jadeja and Dhoni added 53 runs in 7.4 overs. The two had joined hands at the fall of Ambati Rayudu's wicket. CSK were struggling at 56/4 in 10 overs at that time.

Spinners Shreyas Gopal and Rahul Tewatia gave away just 32 runs in eight overs combined, picking up a wicket each.
