London: Its protest rejected by the International Boxing Association, India filed an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sports against the controversial ouster of 69kg boxing medal hope Vikas Krishan from the Olympics here.

Acting Chef-de-Mission and Indian Boxing Federation Secretary General P K Muralidharan Raja said in a statement that India submitted a "preliminary complaint" in writing to the CAS in Switzerland on Saturday against AIBA`s decision to reverse Vikas` win over Errol Spence of USA in a welterweight pre-quarterfinal bout on Friday.
