Ahmedabad: The anti-corruption wing of International Cricket Council (ICC) would maintain a vigil on the players in World Cup to ensure that they are not influenced by anyone, a top police official said here on Saturday.

"A few restrictions have been imposed on the players as well as on the persons meeting them during the course of their stay for World Cup matches," Joint Commissioner of Police Ahmedabad Satish Sharma said.
