Bollywood actress makes explosive claim on Suryakumar Yadav

Actress and model Khushi Mukherjee has stirred fresh controversy after claiming that Indian T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav had frequently messaged her earlier. The statement was made during a recent interaction with the media and has since gained widespread traction across social media platforms.

Mukherjee, who rose to prominence through reality shows such as MTV Splitsvilla, clarified that although there was communication between her and the cricketer, it never crossed into a romantic relationship. She also firmly stated that she has no interest in being associated with cricketers or entering relationships within the sporting world.

“I don’t want to date any cricketer. Many cricketers try to approach me. Suryakumar Yadav used to message me often, but we hardly speak now, and I don’t wish to be linked to anyone. I dislike such rumours involving my name,” she said.

Her candid remarks quickly drew sharp reactions online, with several users questioning the timing and intent of her comments. Many accused her of seeking attention by bringing up the name of one of India’s leading white-ball cricketers.

Suryakumar Yadav, who has been married to Devisha Shetty since 2016, has so far remained silent on the issue and has not released any official statement responding to Mukherjee’s claims.

Apart from the current controversy, Khushi Mukherjee has been active in the entertainment industry for over a decade. She began her acting career with the Tamil film Anjal Thurai in 2013 and later appeared in Telugu and Hindi projects. Known for her outspoken personality and strong social media presence, she continues to maintain a growing fan base.

The episode comes at a time when Suryakumar is already under scrutiny due to his recent struggles with form in T20 internationals. Amid this phase, the Indian captain and his wife were recently seen visiting the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala to offer prayers on the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadashi, a visit that also received significant media attention.
