Bhubaneswar: A 16 member Odisha team comprising nine boys and seven girls would participate in the 27th National junior Athletic Championship-2011 to be held at Ranchi from November 1 to 4. The team of athletes would have Arun Kumar Dash as manager and Rupanwita Panda coach, secretary of Orissa Athletic Association (OAA) Ashirbad Behera said in a statement today.
The list of the athlets (boys) is: Jambeswar Panda (Puri), Champa Tirkey (Cuttack), Dhiren Kadraka (Bargarh), Chinmay Ranjan Jena, (Bhubaneswar), Rajat Kumar Mohanty (Bhubaneswar), Soumya Ranjan Das (Cuttack), Chaitanya Prasad Tudu (Cuttack), Anil Kumar Das (Cuttack).
The girls are: Rajeswari Bhoi (Sundargarh), Sekunta Kullu (Bhubaneswar), Dutee Chand (Jajpur), Subhadra Das (Bhubaneswar), Bonita Lakra (Sundargarh) and Purnima Hembramam (Sundargarh).
