Cheers of ‘India, India’ reverberated Mumbai airport to welcome Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu as she waved the tricolour upon her return to her home country. The 21-year-old actor-model has made the entire country proud by bringing home the coveted crown after 21 long years.
Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu was all smiles upon her arrival at the airport in Mumbai, as she greeted people with a big Namaste.
Chandigarh-born Harnaaz was declared the winner of the 70th edition of the pageant on Sunday night in Eliat. Upon her return from Israel, people were also seen waving the Indian flag at the airport.
Harnaaz donned a red embellished gown and after greeting everyone with folded hands she waved India’s flag as people chanted India India.
Harnaaz started modelling at a young age, and gradually made her way to beauty pageants. She has previously won many pageants like Miss Chandigarh 2017, Miss Max Emerging Star India (2018). The Miss Diva Universe 2021 title paved her way to the Miss Universe 2021 pageant.
