YouTuber’s marital dispute: Wife levels serious allegations after comedian Mr Gulua’s video

A family dispute involving a YouTuber has come out in the open, turning into a public controversy in Odisha. Following a video released by comedian & YouTuber Mr Gulua, his wife Barsha on Thursday came forward and made serious allegations directly targeting Gulua.

Barsha alleged that despite being married to her, Gulua was involved in relationships with other women. She claimed that new women frequently entered his life, leading to repeated disputes between the couple. Due to these conflicts, the two have been living separately for the past one ear.

"I have all the evidence. Even after eight to nine months, the matter was never resolved. I repeatedly heard that he visited different hotels with different women, gave a jacket to a girl in Manali, and handed over Rs 4,000 and Rs 5,000 to different girls. How could you involve yourself with other women without first divorcing me? Do you not feel any shame? I am still your wife. If you wanted to move on, you should have first driven me away legally. Instead, you assaulted me and forced me out of the house," said Barsha.

"Before roaming with different women, you should have resolved my matter. If someone demanded Rs 50 lakh from you, you must provide proof of such a demand. Why did you agree to pay Rs 50 lakh in the first place? If the police did not hear your complaint, it is likely because you failed to provide any evidence. You may also have other cases pending at the police station. The police are not foolish," she added.

Earlier this morning, Gulua had posted a video on social media claiming that he has been receiving death threats. In the emotional video, he sought help from the public and authorities without naming anyone directly. Gulua alleged that along with death threats, he is also being extorted for Rs 50 lakh.

Gulua stated that he has been under severe mental stress for the past few days due to the continuous threats. Appealing to the administration and police, Gulua requested protection and assistance.

"I have received threats demanding a ransom of Rs 1 crore, failing which I will be defamed on social media. After further talks, that amount was reduced to Rs 50 lakh. The callers threatened to have me jailed under fabricated cases if I refused to pay. I was also threatened to be thrashed and disabled so that I will not be able to work anymore. I had been to Balianta police station in this matter and found that one who is threatening me has connection with the police. I don't think that I will be again able to go to the police station. I and my staffs have got threatening thrice. I may not reach court to take legal action. I request the administration to take the matter seriously and not take my video lightly. My life is at risk. I am under severe pressure and I am not able to eat and sleep," said Gulua.
