At first glance, it seemed like a routine case of rash driving. However, discrepancies in the CCTV footage and the SUV’s suspicious movements soon raised doubts among investigators.

The video, now accessed exclusively by OTV, shows Jain riding his scooter when a white SUV trails him closely before accelerating and striking him from behind. The vehicle then speeds away from the scene, leaving the victim grievously injured.

Conspiracy Revealed Through Investigation

As police examined the footage and traced the vehicle’s movements, the trail led to Ankur Agrawal, a young businessman known to the victim. According to sources, investigators uncovered evidence indicating that the collision was not accidental but the result of a deliberate plan to kill Jain.

Following detailed questioning and forensic verification, police arrested Agrawal, who was later produced before the court. Officers revealed that the attack was the outcome of a well-thought-out conspiracy designed to look like a road accident.

A senior officer from Titilagarh police confirmed that the investigation team meticulously reconstructed the events leading to the crash, corroborating the sequence with CCTV visuals obtained from nearby establishments.

Police Continue Probe Into Motive

The Bolangir district police are now probing deeper into the motive behind the murder and the possible involvement of others in the plot. Sources suggest that personal or business rivalry may have played a role.
