Shocking twist in Comedian Guru Prusty’s death: Family files murder complaint

A significant twist has emerged in the mysterious death of popular comedian Guru Prusty, raising several questions about the circumstances leading to the tragic incident. On Friday, Guru’s close relative Narendra Mishra lodged a formal murder complaint at Bhadrak’s Dhamnagar police station, alleging foul play and pointing to events that took place just hours before the tragic accident that claimed Guru’s life.

According to the complaint, a video of Guru Prusty engaged in a heated argument with an actress from the television show ‘Swapna Mahal’ had gone viral prior to his death.

The viral clip reportedly showed a physical and verbal altercation, which, according to the family, may be linked to the events that followed. Just two to two-and-a-half hours after that confrontation, Guru Prusty met with a fatal accident, triggering suspicion among his loved ones.

Speaking to the police, Narendra Mishra stated that the family initially did not file any complaint as they believed it to be a natural accident. However, after the video surfaced online, the family suspected that the argument may have escalated into something more serious. 

“Before the tragic accident, an artist of another party had a scuffle with our son. Based on that, I have submitted two mobile phones as evidence along with a written complaint. The suspect is associated with ‘Swapna Mahal’. They had an altercation just 2–2.30 hours before his death. Earlier, I had not lodged any complaint, but after seeing a video, I now suspect his involvement,” Mishra alleged.

An investigation has been initiated to verify the authenticity of the video, examine call records, and determine whether the altercation had any direct connection with the comedian’s death.

The sudden twist has sparked widespread discussions, with fans and industry colleagues demanding a thorough and transparent inquiry.
