Earlier, the couple had entered into a love marriage nearly 10 years ago. However, after the recent shocking incident, she said that she and her daughter have been left to fend for themselves. Expressing distress over the situation, she maintained that Liza was responsible for influencing her husband’s actions and the circumstances that led to his arrest.

“Yesterday, I came to know from some local youths that news of the murder was being aired. Previously, he used to come home at his sweet will and go back at once. He was not keeping in contact so much and not even calling over the phone,” Dinesh’s wife said.

Worth mentioning, for the past 3 years, Dinesh and Liza had been in a romantic relationship. However, for the last two months, Liza had been keeping a distance from him. For this, Dinesh had been suspecting his girlfriend.

Last Sunday, Dinesh repeatedly called Liza and tried video calls. Because Liza did not pick up the video call or phone call, Dinesh’s suspicion grew. He then came from Jagatsinghpur to Bhubaneswar in a car and reached Liza’s rented house. Around 1.00 AM at night, when he arrived at Liza’s home, Satyabrat and Liza were seen together.

Seeing his girlfriend with another young man (Satyabrat), Dinesh flew into a rage, and anger surged in his head. He locked the room from the outside and brought a knife from another room on the intervening night.

When the door was opened, Dinesh and Satyabrat got into a scuffle. Later, the two men had indulged in bloodshed. It is said that being under the influence of alcohol, Dinesh repeatedly stabbed Satyabrat’s throat and chest with the knife.

After this, Satyabrat ran out of the house in critical condition. While Liza went out to call the neighbours, Dinesh fled from the crime spot by car.
