The Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, was held smoothly across the state on Wednesday. A total of 56,495 candidates appeared for the examination at 227 designated centres.
The examination was conducted from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm amid extensive administrative and security arrangements at all centres. Authorities ensured orderly conduct of the test, with measures in place to facilitate candidates and maintain examination discipline.

Encouragement from the Chief Minister
Ahead of the examination, Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi extended his best wishes to the candidates. He encouraged them to appear for the test with confidence and focus, advising them to remain calm and concentrated while attempting the questions.
"A separate room has been arranged for students to keep their personal belongings, as only the pen and admit card are permitted inside the examination hall,” said Durgeshnandini Das, Headmistress of Badambadi New Colony High School.
