The prize distribution ceremony of ‘Ama Sahi Medha – 2025’, organised by OTV, was held in Dhenkanal with great enthusiasm. A total of 38 Puja Mandaps from across the city participated in this year’s competition held during the Gajalakshmi Puja celebrations.

The event aimed to encourage creativity and festive spirit among the Puja Committees. The participants decorated their mandaps with artistic brilliance and a competitive zeal.

Renowned artist Paresh Pattnayak and senior journalist Ratan Nayak served as the judges for the competition. They visited all the participating mandaps and evaluated them across seven categories.

In the event, the following awards were presented:

  1. Best Medha: Shree Shree Maudamani Rajalakshmi Puja Pratisthan, Meena Bazaar
  2. Best Gate (Torana): Kaibalya Bazaar Puja Pratisthan
  3. Best Light and Decoration: Golden Street Gudiya Nali Puja Pratisthan
  4. Best Side Idol (Parshva Pratima): Lakshmibazaar Puja Pratisthan
  5. Best Meena Bazaar: Ganesha Bazaar Puja Pratisthan
  6. Best Bhog (Offering): Jubilee Town–1 Puja Pratisthan
  7. Best Theme: Khamar Sahi Puja Pratisthan. Apart from these, Special Jury Awards were also presented to several other Puja Committees for their outstanding efforts. The event concluded with appreciation for all participants for their devotion and artistry, marking yet another successful edition of Ama Sahi Medha in Dhenkanal.
