Minor girl found hanging inside house in Dhenkanal, police launch investigation

In a tragic and shocking incident, the body of a minor girl was recovered in a hanging state from inside a house in the Mahisapat area of Dhenkanal district on Monday, triggering concern and grief among local residents.

According to preliminary reports, the exact reason behind the death of the student is yet to be ascertained. Sources said the minor girl had been living in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, with her mother for some time. A few days ago, she had come to Dhenkanal and was staying at the house where the incident occurred.

Family members had reportedly planned to return to Lucknow soon. However, before they could leave, the girl was found hanging inside the house under mysterious circumstances, leading to panic among the family and neighbours.
