Earlier, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) had extended the deadline for filling out forms by ex-regular students for the Annual Higher Secondary Examination 2026. Originally, the last date for submission of filled-out forms was October 28.

The council had cited the severe weather conditions as a valid reason for the delay and assured that no student would face penalties for missing the previously fixed deadline. The revised deadline was November 3, 2025.

The extension aims to provide additional time for students and institutions to complete the process smoothly ahead of the upcoming annual examinations.
