BSE Odisha announces OTET 2025 results; 32,000 candidates clear Paper-I

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha declared the results of the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2025 on Thursday. The results of the examination conducted on December 25, 2025, were published on the official website on February 12.

According to the data released, a total of 45,000 candidates appeared for Paper-I of the examination, out of which 32,000 candidates have successfully passed.

Exam For Teacher Eligibility

The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) is conducted by BSE, Odisha to select eligible candidates for appointment as teachers for Classes I to VIII in government, private aided and private unaided schools across the state.

The OTET serves as a mandatory eligibility criterion for candidates aspiring to take up teaching positions at the elementary level in Odisha.

Application Window Was Extended

Earlier, the application window for the OTET 2025 examination had been extended till November 27. The extension was granted following requests from candidates seeking additional time to complete and submit their applications.

The examination was subsequently held on December 25, 2025.
