The accused have been identified as Chandu, Kalia, China, Raja, and Rajesh. Police sources revealed that all five have multiple criminal cases registered against them, indicating a history of involvement in unlawful activities. With these arrests, the police have intensified efforts to dismantle criminal networks operating in the area.

Attack Before New Year

According to the investigation, the incident occurred on December 27 when Bablu was parking his vehicle in front of his residence. At that time, he was allegedly attacked by seven miscreants armed with deadly weapons. The attackers launched a violent and premeditated assault, leaving Bablu critically injured. He was immediately shifted to a private hospital, where he underwent treatment for several days before succumbing to his injuries on January 1.

Preliminary findings suggest that the murder was carried out due to previous enmity between the victim and the accused. Police suspect that old rivalries and ongoing disputes led to the planning and execution of the attack.

7 Total Arrested

Earlier, two accused had already been arrested in connection with the case. With the latest arrests, the total number of accused taken into custody has risen significantly. Additionally, a minor has been apprehended for allegedly assisting the killers. The minor has been produced before the Juvenile Justice Board and sent to a correctional home as per legal procedures.

Police officials stated that further investigation is underway to identify other individuals involved in the crime and to gather additional evidence. Authorities have assured that strict action will be taken against all those responsible for the murder.
