Bhubaneswar: As many as 140 persons recuperated from COVID-19 in Odisha, taking the total recoveries to 2133 on Tuesday.

A highest of 24 persons recovered from Cuttack district, followed by 22 in Ganjam and 21 from Nuapada district.

Odisha also saw a jump of 146 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total confirmed cases in the State to 3140 on Tuesday. Of the new cases, 127 were in quarantine and 19 local contacts, according to the State Information and Public Relations Department.

Khurda district reported highest 19 coronavirus cases followed by Ganjam (18), Jagatsinghpur (8), Balasore (7), Sundargarh (7), Deogarh (5), Mayurbhanj (3), Kalahandi (3), Nayagarh (3), Keonjhar (2), Cuttack (2), Kandhamal (2), Kendrapada (2), Bolangir (1), Malkangiri (1), Jajpur (1) and Dhenkanal (1).
