Bhubaneswar: Odisha government on Thursday issued its Unlock-5 guidelines for the month of October.

As per the order, cinema halls are going to remain shut till October 31, 2020 contrary to centre’s order to open the same with 50% seating capacity from October 15.

Social, political, sports, entertainment, academic, cultural, religious functions and other large congregations will remain prohibited until 31 October 2020.

Moreover, the state government has decided to keep schools, colleges and educational institutions closed till October 31. However, educational institutes have been allowed to hold examinations during this period. Besides, online distance learning will continue to be permitted and encouraged.
