Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tested positive for COVID-19 and he has been admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.

As per reports, the Union Minister had been in isolation after some of his staff tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Informing about the same, Pradhan took to Twitter and said that he got tested for the virus after showing early symptoms and hospitalised on the advice of doctors.

Meanwhile, he has requested all those who came in contact with him in the last few days to isolate themselves.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also tested positive for the virus on Sunday and admitted to hospital. “I was displaying symptoms of the disease, so decided to undergo a test. My health is fine, but as per the doctor’s advice, I have been hospitalised for further treatment,” tweeted Shah.

He also urged people to isolate themselves, who had come in his contact in the past few days.
