Angul: An ailing elephant died on Wednesday night at Khamar Forest range area of Hatibindha forest here.
As per reports, the jumbo aged around 12 years had dislocated his right knee cap following a fight with fellow members. The injured tusker whose mobility was restricted since then was under the treatment of the forest officials.
However, the pachyderm breathed his last yesterday night and has been sent for post-mortem.
